E-mail, blogging, Facebook, My Space. . . electronic communication and social networking Web sites are becoming a normal part of students’ everyday communications. Here are a few “do’s” and “don’t’s” to help the students with their electronic communication.
Do's:
- Choose an appropriate e-mail address. Give your full name, address, phone number.
- Try to think about the message content before you send it out..make sure you did not copy and paste your post.
- Do remember to delete anything that isn't needed or is trivial.
- Do remember your password.
Dont's:
- Don't conduct arguments in public, for example on a mailing list.
- Don't post picture that is nude.
- Don't copy paste your post.
- Don't send message that is so vocal.
